I know this post is a little late today, but with good reason I swear! Below is the thrilling narrative of The Gnome’s quest to obtain free Enlyten strips:
April 20, 22: Posted first and second blogs about Enlyten.
April 23: Wrote to Enlyten contact person on website provided by news release. Contact responded that I would receive a 20% refund (via PayPal) on any strips I buy.
April 27: Got a comment on the second blog post from Jaime, a different Enlyten strip contact.
April 28: Email Jaime and am told I will get free samples.
April 29: Submit reply giving U.S. shipping address (*ahem* my works’ U.S. shipping address). Jaimes says the free samples will be in the mail tomorrow!
Ok, so that wasn’t very thrilling as much as boring. But now you know the moral of the story, which is that you should ask for things and hopefully someone will give you a free sample of that thing you are asking for instead of a 20% refund through PayPal. Thank you to everyone who voted in the poll. The winner strip is Energy! You know people, I work a full time job, go to school part time AND maintain this bloody blog, I think I am pretty energetic as it is. But I believe in democracy (actually I don’t, fascist dictatorships are where it’s at) so I will do as you command and eat the Enlyten energy strips when they come.

So, do you have to eat these over a long period of time, or is it an instant burst of energy? If I promise that my sweet Husband will make you more delicious food that you can blog about, would you allow me to eat one?

Did you fill out the “free sample request” form on the http://www.allstrips.com website? Or did you email and ask for a sample? I just filled out the form and someone named Kurt responded with an email saying that he was putting a free sample in the mail for me. Simple enough. I’ll let you know when I get my free antioxidants!
Oooh, let’s have a race to see who gets their free strips first! Since I live in Canada, I am instantly at a disadvantage.
Ugh, the “drama” in the blog post was so mundane. It was like watching “Eastenders” or something.
