Something’s Not Right Here…

April 24th, 2009

So my sister just got back from traveling all around various parts of the world, including Australia. Sadly she didn’t bring back any kangaroo jerky, which I totally would have eaten, but she did bring back “the best cookies in the world” or so she claimed. So, I humoured her and tried a Tim Tam biscuit (that’s a cookie for anyone who doesn’t speak British colonies-ish). They are probably the worst, most horrible thing I have…oh fuck, who am I kidding, they are the greatest cookie EVER! I would gladly travel to Australia just to eat more of them. I know this is completely out of the ordinary for The Gnome to not be complaining about something, but what can I say? These cookies have melted my black heart and made believe in the goodness of food again. Ok, so that’s not really true because I have far too much rage to really change, but for a brief moment when I had my first bite of Tim Tam I might have actually…smiled? Be afraid; be very afraid, this could be a sign of the apocalypse.

I wish I had a box of these things in front of me RIGHT NOW so I could eat them all!

I am actually scared because anything you like has to be full of evil and taste like H2SO4.
Also, it sounds like a name you would call ruthie, so it sort of sounds like you think eating my girl would be great.

I stole and ate two of these from you and they were tasty.

Always trying to make yourself sound so dangerous. The cookies were offered and you ate them, the only you stole from me last night was the tv in the bedroom, thief!

Tim Tam sounds like you’re eating a cute little southeast Asian. A cute little southeast Asian owned by someone named Arnott.

That caramel goodness is probably there to stop you from thinking about the oppression of Tim Tam! I feel a “Free Tim Tam” Facebook group coming on…

I would join that group…while eating cookies made from oppressed people at the same time.
